if you find drawing on a tablet really slippery and annoying and your lines always come out wonky here is a trick someone told me a very long time ago

put a piece of paper (thickish drawing paper, like, cartridge at least) on the tablet surface and then draw on that. The friction kind of helps keep your hand steady and your stylus/pen won’t slip around so much. I just hold the paper down with my thumb but you could tape it I guess and yeah I do this and I have been doing it for ages and it really helped me esp. since i was so used to drawing traditionally previously
